KOVALAM - A PLACE OF PARADISE IN THE STATE OF KERALA

Twice a day you will be treated in Dr George's treatment rooms right on the beach boardwalk. The famous Lighthouse Beach boardwalk is where you can go shopping for some beautiful Indian and Nepalese clothing, jewellery, shawls, pashminas, bags or visit a tailor to have something made for you.
	Fishermen bring in the fish each day on the beach front, all joining together to sing and haul in their catch followed by the women who distribute it to the restaurants for your dinner that night. The catch is displayed out the front of each restaurant so you can choose your catch (and its hard to make a choice as everything is wonderful). See Maps and Photos
FOOD: The food in Kovalam is wonderful. You will also experience some of the best and freshest food in the many local restaurants facing out to sea. It is freshly cooked for you once you order and the produce is collected that day. You can request non-spicy or spicy food depending on your taste and Dr George's recommendation.

- whole snapper cooked in the tandoori ovens - approx $3.00

- a banana lassi (yoghurt drink) - $1.20

- a full meal with lobster, prawns, calamari, fish, vegetables and drinks for 2 people - $26 in total

- pancakes with fruit - approx $2.00

ACCOMMODATION IN KOVALAM:

After flying in to Trivandrum you will picked up in an Ambassador car. Guests stay in Kovalam during which time you will undergo treatment with Dr George and his team.

We have four Hotel pricing options at two hotels:

The Wilson Ayurvedic Hotel (see Option 1) is a small lovely hotel 30 seconds walk to the Lighthouse beach with a gorgeous swimming pool to relax in before and after treatments. It is only one minutes walk to Dr George's treatment rooms.

There is a little restaurant where you will eat breakfast and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Relaxing by this pool after treatments is really heaven.

All the rooms have a balcony with a view of the Arabian sea. The hotel has a swimming pool and a multi-cuisine restaurant on the roof where you will be served breakfast every morning.

The Sagara Beach Resort (see Option 2) and the newer section, The Sagara Palace (Option 3 and 4) is only two minutes walk to Dr George's treatment rooms.

Facilities include Internet Cafe, Telephone, cable TV (with great movies and HBO), Mail & Message Handling, Safe Deposit Locker, Cloak Room, Doctor on Call, Laundry, Airport Transfer, Restaurant Room Service, Hot Water, Boating, and Cultural Performances.

The Sagara Beach Resort (left) is a small friendly hotel in front of the Lighthouse Beach of Kovalam. It has 30 air conditioned rooms, each with twin beds, en-suite toilet and shower with running hot and cold water.

Sagara Palace: where you will stay when you choose Options 3 and 4

Sagara Palace is a newly constructed resort designed in the traditional Kerala architectural style. It has 12 air conditioned rooms, complete with all modern aminities.
